Along with amazing Pinot noirs, the IPNC celebrates the culinary creativity blossoming in the Northwest. Round out your IPNC weekend experience with a fabulous dinner on Thursday, July 26th, hosted at an area winery, or restaurant. See the list below for this year’s offerings – each experience promises to be unique and unforgettable.
The IPNC does not organize the Pre-IPNC dinners, but provides a list of the wineries and restaurants that will be hosting these dinners along with their contact information. Reservations must be made directly with the host per the listed contact details.


Join us for an historic evening at Adelsheim’s original vineyard, Quarter Mile Lane. Our founder, David Adelsheim, will host a memorable and educational evening, featuring library and current vintage wines from this site. Laurent-Perrier will join us for the evening allowing us to savor their Champagne alongside our Estate Pinots. Renowned Napa chef and winemaker Aaron Robinson will create a unique, five-course meal with local, farm-fresh ingredients to pair with some of our most beloved and exclusive wines. Come celebrate our heritage and our future, as you dine al fresco, among the vines.

We hope you will join us as we celebrate our first time participating in the International Pinot Noir Celebration with a special reception showcasing wines from Lynn Penner Ash, Brian O’Donnell and Patrick Reuter. Enjoy the expansive views at Bella Vida Vineyard while talking with Steven Whiteside owner/farmer of Bella Vida Vineyards. Bella Vida is a LIVE® Certified 26-acre Vineyard selling fruit to some of the best winemakers in the Willamette Valley.

Coelho Winemaker’s Dinner

After a pre-dinner reception at Coelho Winery, join us for a relaxing evening at The Blue Goat in Amity for dinner paired with Coelho wines. Chef Thomas Ghinazzi will prepare a 4-course menu of local and seasonal foods, paired with 2016 Coelho Vineyard Chardonnay, 2016 Delfina Vineyard Pinot Noir, 2011 Paciência Pinot Noir Reserve from our library, and our silky Aventura Port-style dessert wine. Reception 6:00-6:45 in the Coelho Tasting Room, Dinner at 7:00 at The Blue Goat around the corner.

Flaneur Wines: 100 Year Old Barn Dinner

Join us, and Tournant caterers, on our La Belle Promenade Vineyard, high up in the Chehalem Mts, for a unique dinner in three locations. We will start the evening with an aperitif in a reclaimed-wood pergola with rooftop benches! Next we’ll progress to the middle of the vineyard for dinner amongst the vines. We will finish by enjoying dessert in a 100-year-old barn that is as romantic it sounds. It will be an evening, 820 feet up, with beautiful views, rustic settings, and incredible food & wine…nothing short of the REAL Oregon.

Al Fresco at Owen Roe

Join the Owen Roe family for a rare dining experience in the heart of Parrett Mountain. We welcome you into the private residence of Founders, David and Angelica O’Reilly, for a 4-course family style meal with a seasonally fresh menu prepared by Winery Chef, Craig Singer. Dinner will be served al fresco upon the wraparound porch; surrounded by natural Oregon foliage and creekside landscape. Dinner Under The Stars

You can’t beat an Oregon summer night. Meet, dine and relax with Rollin’s good friend Ben Glover, winemaker of Zephyr Winery, New Zealand and ROCO’s Rollin Soles, in the garden at ROCO Winery. Chef, Paul Bachand of Recipe Restaurant will create an unforgettable summer’s repast of locally grown produce and proteins served alongside sparkling wine, Pinots Noirs from two countries, Rose’ and a selection of other cool climate varietals. We’ll top off the evening with dessert at the bonfire to prepare you for a great weekend. Do come, it will be fun.

Farm Spirit to Table at Mineral Springs Ranch

Join us for a collaborative dining experience featuring Chefs Aaron Adams and Kei Ohdera of Farm Spirit, and Soter Vineyard’s Chef Alex Daley. This beautiful evening at Mineral Springs Ranch will begin with hors d’oeuvres and sparkling wine on the lawn surrounding our chef’s garden. Dinner will feature current and library Pinot Noirs, and creative preparations of vegetables and meat from Soter’s biodynamic farm. To top it off, this artful and sumptuous supper will be served on custom wares crafted by Careen Stoll from Luscious Porcelain.

Three Days of Glory & A Night in Burgundy

We’ll start with an exclusive screening of the new and critically-acclaimed Burgundy documentary “Three Days of Glory” featuring Véronique Drouhin, Dominique Lafon, Aubert de Villaine and Allen Meadows. Winemaker-importer Scott Paul Wright of Caveau Selections Co-Produced & Directed with filmmaker David Baker. Pre-IPNC Dinner at Furioso Vineyards Dundee

There is only one “first winemaker’s dinner” in a winery, and you’re invited! Furioso Vineyards’ just completed tasting room is nestled in one of the Dundee Hills AVA’s oldest vineyards. A unique piece of contemporary architecture, its fourteen-foot-high glass walls on all four sides offer a commanding view of the Willamette Valley, the Dundee Hills, and the Cascade Mountain Range. Join Chef Pascal Chureau, of Allium Bistro and Field and Vine Events, as he delights us at our very first winemaker’s dinner in our new space with a culinary homage to La Linea Furioso – Italian Roots, French Spirit, Oregon Dirt.

Kick off your IPNC weekend with a taste of Portland: Enjoy a 5 Course Chef’s Tasting Menu by Chef Althea Grey Potter at Oui!, nestled within the SE Wine Collective Urban Winery! A flight of four Pinot noirs made at the Collective will be offered (and can be paired with your menu,) and is complimentary to attendees and participants of IPNC. Tables for groups of 1 to 16 guests are available for the reservation time of your choosing that evening, starting at 4:00pm (last seating at 9:30pm.)

Coeur Blanc & Monogram Gala

Explore the Light and the Dark Side of Pinot Noir with an evening of intrigue and discovery at the Clubhouse at Domaine Serene. Burgundy in the Valley

Join us at Youngberg Hill to celebrate 29 years with dinner prepared by internationally acclaimed chef from Burgundy, Katherine Frelon, and co-hosted with Brittan Vineyards.
Katherine is returning for her second dinner with us, and we are very pleased that Ellen and Robert Brittan will be joining us and sharing their wines. This promises to be a spectacular evening. Also joining us from Burgundy, Patrice Ollivier, who will bring a selection of his wines from Domaine Fougeray de Beauclair. We’ll enjoy a feast of local, seasonal ingredients of great food with a French flair paired perfectly wines from Youngberg Hill, Brittan Vineyards, and Domaine Fougeray de Beauclair. This will be a most magical evening of wine, food and the most spectacular views in the valley.
