The IPNC is dedicated to producing a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive event that celebrates the diversity of the international wine community.
We believe our event is improved by the individuality of all people, and we welcome everyone regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, identity, sexual orientation, background, or abilities. We are committed to continually assessing our business practices, with the goal of attaining equity in all aspects of event planning and execution. We aspire to be a celebration where diversity of thought is embraced.
We will work toward this through:
- Expanding more diverse leadership within our board, staff, media, attendees, speakers, and volunteers.
- Targeted outreach to BIPOC and underrepresented communities.
- Acknowledging and honoring the traditional lands of Indigenous peoples.
- Operating as an anti-racist organization.
- Acknowledging and dismantling any inequities within our policies, systems, programs, and services, and continually updating and reporting organizational progress.
- Pooling resources and partnering with culturally specific businesses/organizations committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
