Now in its 29th year, the International Pinot Noir Celebration is held the last full weekend of July in McMinnville, Oregon. The event offers Pinot noir consumers and industry members the chance to enjoy an unparalleled selection of Pinot noir from around the world via a full schedule of seminars, walkaround tastings, winery tours, and unforgettable meals prepared by top Northwest chefs. With the exception of a vineyard and winery tour, the IPNC is held on the beautiful and historic Linfield College campus. McMinnville is an easy hour drive southwest of Portland in the heart of Oregon wine country.

The IPNC offers three ticket options for guests to choose from: The Full Weekend (Friday-Sunday), Salmon Bake (Saturday evening), and the Passport to Pinot (Sunday afternoon). See below for more information on these ticket options. Purchase tickets here.

THE FULL WEEKEND, Friday Morning to Sunday Noon (July 24-26)
Full Weekend guests arrive Friday morning for three days of tastings, seminars, vineyard tours, and meals. Throughout the weekend, guests have the chance to taste wines from 70+ Featured Wineries and the opportunity to meet and converse with the winemakers themselves. Highly regarded as one of the world’s finest wine events, the IPNC is also praised as a showcase for the Northwest’s famed farm-to-table cuisine. This year, more than 60 chefs from the region’s most revered restaurants will cook for IPNC guests over the course of the weekend.

The 2015 IPNC Full Weekend ticket includes:
   •  2 Large Outdoor Tastings
   •  Numerous Weekend Seminars
   •  Friday Night Grand Dinner and Saturday Night Salmon Bake
   •  A Vineyard Tour & Winery Lunch
   •  An afternoon University of Pinot Course
   •  An Array of Wine Related Activities and Small Format Tastings
   •  Friday and Saturday Breakfast on the Patio
   •  Sunday Sparkling Brunch Finale
   •  Opportunity to Celebrate with over 70 International Pinot Noir Winemakers and 60 Northwest Chefs

Along with the winemakers, speakers, and chefs, it is the relaxing and festive atmosphere that sets the IPNC apart from all other wine events. Whether tasting Grand Cru Burgundy or walking through Oregon vineyards with the grower who planted them, guests find themselves unwinding in picturesque Oregon wine country for what Eric Asimov, wine writer for the New York Times, describes as “one of those rare wine gatherings that works on every level”.

PASSPORT TO PINOT, Sunday Afternoon (July 26)
A condensed version of the IPNC, the Sunday Passport to Pinot offers guests a chance to taste wine from our 70+ Featured Wineries! The Passport to Pinot takes place in the beautiful Oak Grove of Linfield College, a wonderful setting for this relaxed outdoor tasting. In addition to over 70 wineries, 15 local Northwest chefs will be preparing culinary treats to pair with your Pinot. Unlike the Salmon Bake, the Passport to Pinot is not included for Full Weekend Guests. It is considered a separate event from the Full Weekend festivities and attracts a separate crowd of 500 Pinot noir fans.

THE NORTHWEST SALMON BAKE, Saturday Evening (July 25)
A long-standing tradition of the IPNC, the Salmon Bake dramatically showcases wild salmon roasted on alder stakes over a huge custom-built fire pit. Guests bask in the warm glow of a lantern lit Oak Grove where cellared Pinot noir and wines from around the world accompany an extravagant outdoor buffet designed by local chefs. Guests also enjoy an extraordinary assortment of hand-crafted desserts, and after dinner, relax to music and dancing under the stars. The majority of Salmon Bake tickets are reserved for Full Weekend ticketholders. A limited number of a la carte Salmon Bake tickets will be made available in the spring.
